Plush singles feature extra fine 19.5-micron Superwash Merino wool. This yarn base is light weight, incredibly soft and has a beautiful silky sheen. Single ply yarn is perfect for a colorful shawl, light weight hat, or your favorite colorwork design. This yarn is also super fun to crochet with, as it is so lightweight it makes a beautiful fabric.

This yarn is excellent for baby knits and garments worn next to the skin. This base is also recommended to people who have sensitive skin.

While this is a fingering weight yarn, this yarn is not ideal for socks.

Superwash yarn is technically machine washable in a gentle cycle with like colors, I do however recommend hand washing your knits made with Superwash yarn as the washer will tug and pull at your knits causing them to lose their shape or worse rip. I wash my knits in the sink using lukewarm water and Long Winter Farm Sweater Soap. This soap has lanolin in it which protects the natural fibers. I spot wash any stains and allow my sweater to soak for approximately 30 minutes. Rinse your sweater with cool water if necessary and then gently wring out any extra water, I use my top load washer spin cycle this this, but you can use a towel as well. After the excess water is removed, lay your garment flat to air dry.

This fiber was hand dyed by ontheround using professional quality acid dyes. Our yarn is dyed in small batches and no skein will be 100% the same- that’s what makes working with hand dyed yarn so fun! It is recommended that you alternate multiple skeins for larger projects to create a cohesive fabric.
