Socky Bombs have been re-branded as Shade Shifting Gradients. All 600 yard shawl cakes purchased as Socky Bombs are the same as a Shade Shifting Gradient on Traveler Sock and done with the newer dye process. 440 yard shawlette cakes labeled Socky Bombs are on the Traveler Sock base but done with an older and slightly different dye process that has a more color blocky look rather than the gradual shift.
