We use a high quality 3-ply 80% Superwash Wool/20% Nylon base yarn for our hand dyed fingering weight sock yarn. The nylon gives the yarn a bit of extra strength, wonderful for socks.

While machine washable, hand washing is always highly recommended.

As of Dec. 1st, 2009, we have a new free verse sock base, which is 75/25 merino & nylon.
