The Svelte line of yarns are dyed on a fine 2-ply 100% superwash merino wool, on the light side of fingering weight. It knits up beautifully at a small gauge to create a fabric that is very light and flexible. I have been using this wool for years and it is just as durable as if it had nylon content, yet softer than a synthetic blend could ever hope to be!

Each skein is approximately 100 grams and 400 yards, enough for socks, mittens, a hat, a cowl, or all sorts of baby items – perfect for this easy-care fiber!
