Our Cotton Pure is a real natural beauty! One hundred percent organically-grown, this cotton is also unmercerized, which makes it soft and absorbent with a pleasing matte finish. Cotton Pure feels lovely in the hand and is wonderfully supple to knit. Its multi-strand structure is ten plies that are actually plied strands themselves, resulting in an incredibly strong and even yarn that creates a smooth stockinette and beautiful stitch definition for cables. This is why Cotton Pure is so satisfying for housewares and baby clothes and so gorgeous in textured blankets and sweaters! This machine wash- and dry-able sportweight is available in a palette taken from a landscape in full bloom: birch and linden trees, warm rocks, crystalline water, and meadows of wildflowers!

TIP: As with all plant fibers, we recommend pulling Cotton Pure from the outside of the ball.

NOTE: In 2019 we changed our Cotton Pure fiber to 100% organically-grown cotton. We also changed the entire palette. Otherwise, it’s the same as our original Cotton Pure: same gauge, same spin, same yardage (okay, a tiny bit more!), and same soft touch!
