Meet Nord 2.0 - the second version of our favorite 2 ply, fingering weight base! Nord 2.0 has a slightly different story than the original version of this yarn, which I’ll be sharing in full detail once it officially launches at the end of this summer. The short version is that we’ve used a different fiber (also sourced in Germany, but through a slightly different process) to ensure this yarn is as soft as possible, while still keeping that rustic, woolly quality you’ve come to know and love from R&S yarns. This yarn is sustainably made, which here at R&S means that it is an eco-friendly, biodegradable (non-superwash & nylon-free) wool yarn, produced as locally as possible with care to reduce our environmental impact in every way we can.
