We make our top one fluffy bird’s nest at a time on our wool combs. We do not pull it from commercial top or from drum carded batts. Made from a mix of fibers in a wide variety of colors, our time consuming process allows us to blend the top into a beautiful array. Additonally, we do not charge for this prep. All you pay for is the dyeing and fiber, less than $4 an ounce!

Hand-pulled top is the ultimate fiber preparation for spinning worsted yarns. Finer than commercial top, you will discover greater control in drafting and improved ease of spinning. It almost spins itself!
