Our Blue Faced Leicester sock yarn is an unbelievably soft springy wool, with amazing sheen and strength. Its long wool staple is combed not carded before spinning, giving this wool a soft drape. It is spun in England and then hand dyed by us, with natural dyes here in our dye house in France.

This 4 ply / fingering yarn has been chosen with sock knitting in mind, so they are soft and robust. However they are used equally successfully for hats, shawls, bags, cushions, gloves and baby wear.
