Aysgarth is 100% lustrous British Wensleydale wool. Its appearance is similar to the shine and the halo of mohair and it feels like a warm woolly hug. Seriously, you won’t be able to stop stroking this yarn! It comes from sheep who have amazing long curly locks and it is a hand dyer’s favourite for its colour uptake. The yarn is worsted spun and plied, and has a draping handle, making it ideal for statement pieces.
