The information on this label seems rather muddled; the written washing instructions say, “Machine Wash / Gentle Cycle / Lay Flat to Dry,” but the symbols indicate hand washing only.

It is also possible that the meterage is actually more than the 100m per 50g that is given on the label.

The construction is unusual, as it seems to be comprised of a central lightly-spun single, surrounded by four thinner and more tightly spun singles, which rather than being twisted together are knotted together every centimetre or so. One hesitates to label it as a boucle, although it somewhat resembles one at first glance.
