Sheepy Valley is “a family farm nestled in the Catskills of New York State.” Proprietors Kate and Ralph Henderson tend a flock of Dorsets and Romneys and send the wool to a spinnery in Maine (Bartlettyarns, the oldest in the U.S.) for processing. The resulting yarn is warm and sturdy, and comes in a rich spectrum of colors.
