VESNA

Goddess of spring and life. In some Slavic countries like Russia or Ukraine, Vesna means spring. Thanks to being a single yarn, (spun from one thread) it makes all knits look exceptional and it also takes in colors differently. They come out slightly more nuanced, they transfer from one to another nearly unnoticeably. Although on the other hand, you may find spots that are significantly lighter than the rest of the skein. This gives the colorways a wider spectrum of hues which is one of her charms. Thanks to baby alpaca fibers, the yarn have visible, long hairs, that for a subtle halo, and the silk (20%) does not only give it a sheen but also makes the yarn flowing and more durable. Vesna is very pleasant and delicate to the skin, and does not scratch at all! Good for all kinds of knits, especially for shawls and sweaters.

Due to the fact that it’s a single yarn (1 ply), we recommend somewhat more careful treatment. It will look delightful worked on slightly bigger needles that are usual for fingering weight yarns, because blocking makes it plumper filling out the spaces between stitches. This will allow to additionally decrees eventual felting.

P.S.
More love and happiness in one skein – Vesna has 115 g per skein!
