Clun Forest Handpaints
from
solitude wool

This yarn comes from the fleeces of Clun Forest sheep (a Heritage breed) from 4 different farms in Virginia. Clun Forest is a down breed, and the wool is light and springy. This gives finished pieces good memory, cushion, and warmth without extra weight. The alpaca provides softness and a lovely halo. There were also solid colors available.
worsted spun, 2 ply
