Tunis/Alpaca
from
solitude wool

This yarn comes from 3 farms in Virginia. Two supply the Tunis, and one supplies the Alpaca. This marled yarn looks like a Tunis sheep. When they are lambs, the Tunis sheep are red, but as they grow up, their fleeces turn white while their faces and legs remain red. The marl is created by blending red alpaca into one of the plies. This yarn is available undyed as well as nature dyed.
