completely sourced and manufactured within 100 miles of my home within the pembina fibreshed.

70% manitoba wool/30% manitoba mohair

399 yards (365 metres), 105-150g*

wool: 2018 clip from wensleydale/romney/wensleydale x sheep (spirit sands shepherds, carberry, manitoba)

mohair: 2018 clip from angora goat (prairie’s edge wool farm, kleefeld, manitoba)

spun at long way homestead mill in ste-geneviève, manitoba

this knits up at a true fingering weight gauge. the additional grams are due to the density of the actual wool, which alters from fleece to fleece. depending on the fleece, final weight ranges from 105-150g, but yardage remains the same.
