About Barn:
This new artisanal yarn by Susan Crawford is a unique wool in a natural shade of grey. Featuring a blend of 3 British sheep breeds, the characteristics of local sheep from around Monkley Ghyll Farm are combined to create a delightfully lofty, grey yarn. Jacob fleece is blended with white Shetland, then a strand of black Shetland adds further depth. The result is a yarn which is extremely soft to handle, yet very warm and hard-wearing. Barn creates fabric with a beautiful texture, equally good in plain stitch patterns as well as textural patterns, cables and lace.
