Two British wool qualities in one base: the well-known Bluefaced Leicester (BFL), soft and silky with a slight sheen, and the northern English Masham, almost as soft as the BFL but slightly more crimpy, resulting in a nice halo. The natural greyish brown colour of the Masham lends the yarn a marbled tone which underpins beautifully the dyed colours. This DK version is very suitable for hats, squishy warm scarfs and shawls and warm garments.
