Surino is a non-superwash sport weight yarn spun of 50 % Merino and 50 % Suri Alpaca fiber. The Suri Alpaca fiber gives the yarn warmth and a silky lustre and feel as well as stability to the yarn. Surino is a soft and warm yarn suitable for a variety of projects, large and small. Surino knits up nicely and works well with textured and cabled patterns as well as lace patterns. Since it is non-superwash hand wash is recommended.
