“Opalescent” is a single-ply DK weight blend of 40% baby alpaca, 40% wool and 20% silk; approximately 100g and 252 yards. This yarn is dyed by hand using colorfast acid dyes. It is soft and luxurious and will make great sweaters or accessories when you want something extra special to knit with. It has a faint sheen from the silk, hence the name “Opalescent.”
