In norse mythology, Niflheim is a realm of mist and frost in the high north, the counterpart of which is Muspelheim, a realm of fire. These two worlds were the primordial ones and after they came into existence, creation began.
Niflheim is inhabited by the Hrimthurs (frost giants) and it is a world of eternal ice.

This art yarn was spun from very soft, hand dyed alpaca in shades of misty blue, containing occasional mohair curls. A sparkly, silver metallic thread has been taken along, strung with glass beads in blue, aqua and crystal clear to represent glittering ice, dew drops and mist.
