Fun fact - Bluefaced Leicester sheep do actually have blue faces… their skin under the wool is a blue color!

BFL fiber is a highly versatile fiber and this yarn has been worsted spun from naturally soft, silky, and strong wool. Naturally soft, but not as soft as Merino, BFL is great for garments expected to work a little harder. I have used it for dresses, sweaters, and accessories alike. Can be knit into sock at a tight gauge - even without the nylon!

This BFL is 25-26 microns.
