This isn’t sold as a knitting yarn, it’s meant for mending and reinforcing of socks. It’s 2 plys from a standard sock yarn, and can be worked on needle size 1.75 mm for vintage sock patterns.

As of 2024 sold in bigger skeins of 50 g instead of only 20 g. Now called “Stopf- und Beilaufgarn”.
