Pastora (shepherdess in catalan) is a 100% wool dk weigh yarn, non superwash and plastic free. It is a specific breed yarn made from Ripollesa sheep wool, an endangered sheep breed from Catalonia.

It is produced locally: the wool is sourced in Catalonia (north-east of Spain), then we send it to the north-west of Spain to be scoured and finally it come back to Catalonia to be spun and dyed.

It is a good yarn for many purposes: stockinette, lace, cables, stranded knitting and textures.

Hand wash and dry flat.
