A small half-circle summer scarf or medium shawlette (depending on gauge and yarn choice) worked from the top down.

The pattern includes a provisional cast-on, charts, one row of cabling, increasing and decreasing, and a crochet bind off.

Please see kn1t1t’s project for an alternative way of doing the butterflies in Chart B.

Please see Maia’s project for calculating if you have enough yarn to finish the project.

21 Aug 2011: A new PDF has been uploaded. Please ensure you are working from the version that ends in v-3. It contains clarifications on how to work the edging, how to do the centred dec in the bind off and the total st count after Chart D.

18 Aug 2011: More errata! Total stitch count after Chart D should be 297 sts, not 365 sts.

16 Aug 2011: Please also note that the yos next to the edges on the WS should be purled throughout the pattern (ie k3, p1, chart, p1, k3 from Chart B onwards) unless otherwise stated.

15 Aug 2011: Errata! Instructions for Chart B should read: “Work Chart B rows 1-13 once, 2-13 once then 2-7 again”. PDF has been updated.

2 Aug 2011: There will be a KAL over on Google+ for this pattern starting Aug 16th. KALers will be offered a 40% discount and I’ll try to be as active as I can answering questions and cheering people on (bearing in mind the time differences). Please contact Yana Weinstein to sign up.

There is also a post about it in the Google+ forum here on Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/discuss/google/1768344/1-25
