Brochan Slouch
This slouchy style hat suits man or woman, boy or girl; fold up the ribbed brim for more of a beanie fit. It is worked from brim to crown with Fair Isle stranded colorwork in the body that extends into the crown shaping. The design features diamonds and triangles in a stitch pattern also featured in the Brochan (for children) and Brecken (for adults) Sweaters. Modeled in Adult, both in a 2-color and 3-color version, and in Child with the Eliot Zip-Up (sweater pattern sold separately). This pattern is recommended for intermediate level knitters with some prior colorwork experience.
