The promise of Spring, with buds about to burst into flower, inspired this design which is named for Beautiful Flower in Old Greek.

Easily memorised lace, which is evocative of budding flowers, gently flows into the edging that features highlights of the little flower bud lace pattern.

Calanthia is a wide and shallow crescent shaped shawl that is worked from the top down. It is light and airy, making it perfect to throw over the shoulders on a cool morning.

The pattern is provided with both written instructions and charts.

Please note: While gauge isn’t crucial for this shawl, the finished size will be affected by any differences.
