Closed-loop cables and garter stitch combine to make this super squishy and warm cowl, perfect for snuggling into on a cold winter’s day. The cowl is designed to be slightly cone-shaped, allowing it to expand nicely around the base of your neck while still keeping a close fit around your face.

Carnimírië is Quenya for “red-jewelled,” and is the name of a tree in Fangorn beloved of the Ent Bregalad. The diamond cables of this cowl resemble jewels surrounded by cables evoking the natural twining of tree branches.

This pattern includes full written directions as well as charts, so you can choose which you prefer!
