Yarn
Polka yarn dyed in the colors of your choice may be purchased from the Fiddle Knits yarn shop.

My colors will be Sandalwood (Main Color) and Pearl (Coordinating Color).

Shape
Bottom up. “half circle” is the best descriptive tag offered by Ravelry, however, “half oval” may be more accurate. Think long, shallow, gentle scoop bottom.

Errata: Part Three (bold text is the correction)
Row 1 (MC): k1, ssk, k102 (116), ssk, turn – 105 (119)
Row 2 (MC): slip 1 wyif, 101 (115), ssp, p1 – 104 (118)

Not Errata, just a note!
Going into clue 4 folks have been confused on their needle set up. When you finished clue 3 you worked a RS row, so your needle tips are in the upper right corner of the tree section.
Turn the work so the WS is facing you and, without working any stitches, slip all the stitches to your right needle. (It’s easier to go that direction so you don’t have to slip down the entire left side of the tree and the undecreased left wing of the shawl where’s there’s more stitches.)
Now the WS is facing you, so just go back to the beginning of the WS row and attach your yarn.
