Bowl is worked triple-stranded, in the round; cape is worked double-stranded, flat, and double sided, then seamed to bowl. Check out the comments for links to the Navajo Plying Technique to learn how to triple strand the yarn.

This bowl uses a full skein of Patons Classic Wool Merino for the cape (red and black) and the body (grey/silver), which used to run at 223 yards per skein.

Please note that Patons Classic Wool (at 210 yards/skein) replaced the discontinued Patons Classic Wool Merino and purchase skeins accordingly. Scraps of feltable white worsted weight wool can be used for the fangs.
