Sometimes, sleek and tailored just doesn’t cut it.

Sometimes, the best kind of knit is a chunky and cozy one.

Foxhollow was designed to fit this need; a warm, enveloping coat finished off with a wide double moss collar. Worn open, it provides instant drama. Closed and wrapped up? It’s the kind of garment I want to curl up in, with a glass of wine, and a good book.

Like many of my designs, Foxhollow has a totally seamless construction that begins with the collar and is shaped with short rows and top-down raglan details.

The double moss stitch accomplishes two goals; it provides a sturdy, non-rolling border, and it shapes the lower edge of the coat with a bit of ruffle and flare.
