The Gold Star for Effort (or Morning Star) Shawlette is a reversible scarf/shawlette, worked from the star motif edging upwards, with optional beading. The body of the shawl is worked in garter stitch using short rows.

A collaboration with Rain (of Rain’s Obsessive Stitchery) who offered me some of her deliciously smooshy Fred Sock yarn as inspiration for this pattern.

errata - small typo on row 13 - the rep section should read: *k8, p17, k7. This is now corrected in the download.
