I designed this pattern for my Hunger Games fanatic daughter! It is knit up with 100% cotton yarn and will end up to be approximately a 10” X 10” square! It doesn’t have the circle around it … just the bird and arrow :)

This is a large dishcloth which would be better used as a potholder, but you CAN use it to wash dishes. I just personally prefer smaller cloths for washing!

Gauge is not important, but if you’d like a bit smaller cloth, you could got down a couple needle sizes or if you’d like it larger, go up a couple!

All you need is a skein of cotton yarn (my cloth weighs 2 oz. so make sure you grab a skein of cotton that’s at least 2.5 oz! Some variegated skeins are exactly 2 oz.), size 5 straight needles, and a tapestry needle for weaving yarn ends when finished!

If you desire to block your cloth, I find it easiest to pin it to a towel so that it is the desired shape and then hold an iron above it (not touching the cloth) and steam it until its damp. Let dry.
