This is a great pattern for beginners who want to knit lace but do not have the confidence to tackle a large project. A long strip of lace is knitted first and then stitches are picked up along the edge and simple garter stitch worked to create a fashionable scarf which can be worn in many different ways.

Tension isn’t crucial either, in fact I would love to see this made in larger stitches and yarn so I am really looking forward to many different interpretations of this pattern.
