Lunatis Folium means Crescent Leafs in Latin.

I love lace knitting, I love shawls, that is why I have thought of this pattern. I love the classic leaf pattern, but I also love geometric shapes. This I have tried to combine in this lace. The crescent shape of the shawl makes for a quite quick knit, but gives a great shape to the shawl which drapes beautifully around the neck and shoulders.

Pattern are knitted from bottom and up, which let you go directly to the fun part, the lace knitting (at least I think so).

The pattern are both charted and with written directions.

The yarn used for the shawl on photos are 4ply cotton, but it will also work really well with almost all lace and fingering weight yarns in wool.

Enjoy.
