Now updated with a fresh look!

This bag is the perfect eco accessory. Different colors are used in alternating rows to give a subtle colorful texture to the stitches. All colors are carried the whole way up the bag, so there are no ends to weave in or knots in the lace portion.

The base of the bag is worked first in a Woven Stitch pattern in one color. Stitches are then picked up along each side and the bag is worked in the round in a charted Chevron Lace pattern, changing colors each round. The handles are built into the bag by creating giant, lopsided ‘buttonholes’ in the top band.
