Notions: Stitch marker, length of cotton or other smooth yarn for provisional cast on – due to the mohair it is advisable to use cotton for the provisional cast-on for ease of removal

Notes: Palindrome is provisionally cast on in the middle; additional stitches are cable cast on, then left side is worked using stripes, mitered corner shaping, and intarsia to create blocks of colour. The provisional stitches are then picked up to complete the right side in the same way. To easily keep track of RS and WS rows, place a locking stitch marker on the RS of the fabric.
