These elegant long-line mitts are knitted from the fingers towards the wrist and are relatively easy to make

They cover the fingers and thumbs well but all lengths can be varied to suit the knitter

I used Sockussu O or Handmaiden Fine Yarn Camelspin but any sock yarn with around 300metres per 100g would work

The sizing is simply adjusted by changing the size of the needles

Small 2.5mm
Medium 2.75mm
Large 3mm

Measure around the palm at the base of the fingers, my hand measures 19cm, if your hand is smaller than mine, then you might like to consider using 2.5mm needles. If your hands are bigger then try a larger size

Less than one skein of yarn is needed to knit these pretty mittens. if you weigh your yarn before starting to knit, you can use up every precious centimetre, especially if using handspun yarn.
