This pattern is based on Cookie A.’s well known and very popular sock pattern. It came in to being when I casted on for the socks but after a few centimeters found out my ancles were to big for them. Instead of frogging, I continued making them into fingerless mittens. I noted down for others to do the same.

Since then I’ve learned that others have had the same idea and so this is not the only pomatomus fingerless mitten available.
