The Rose Bud Poncho is a great layering piece to wear over a turtle neck or long sleeved blouse in the cooler weather or over a tank top in the warmer weather. This poncho is designed to be over-sized and is available in sizes S - 3XL.

You will need a size 4 medium weight yarn and an H/8 (5.00 mm) crochet hook. This is an Intermediate level pattern.

The pattern consists of two rectangular panels that are seamed together along the shoulders and below the arms. So there are armholes, but no real sleeves to add on. The stitch pattern is what makes this garment stand out. The stitches you will use are single crochets, double crochets, half double crochet 2 together (hdc2tog) and cluster stitch. There are written instructions for the last 2 stitches.

Along with the Instructions PDF, you will also receive 2 more PDF’s containing the photo stitch tutorial. The amount of photos in the main pattern are minimal for ease of printing.
