This wrap could be worn constantly in the cooler months and perhaps even in the summer if, for example, your office constantly runs the air conditioner. The merino yarn is luxurious, and I love how it knits up in this easy lace and cable pattern. The edging is thick and creates structure while offering a bit more warmth for the neck. Worked from side to side, the sleeves are picked up from the body and worked down.

Knitting Knowledge
The body of this project is worked flat, and the sleeves are worked in the round. It requires:

• Knitting with circular and double-pointed needles
• Casting on
• Reading lace and cable charts
• Knitting and purling
• Working with a cable needle
• Finishing

Wrap shown measures 14” (35.5 cm) across back at shoulders.
