This shawl is worked in two parts: First, the body of the shawl is knitted on circular needles from a charted pattern, then the edge is started separately on DPNs and later joined to the body on the go. The edge pattern is also charted. The pattern is currently available in Russian and German and will be available in English in the near future, too.

The sample was knit from „ATELIER ZITRON“ „Extraklasse“ (100% Kid Mohair, 25 g/225 m), Color 4511 (Wollweiß = “wool white”), total amount 100 g [3.5 oz] on 4.5 mm bamboo circular needles „Profi“ (body of shawl) and two 4.5 mm DPNs for the beginning of the edge.
