A Shirley Temple cocktail is in fact a mocktail of ginger ale, a splash of grenadine, and topped with a maraschino cherry, said to have been invented to serve to the child actress at Hollywood events.

The Shirley Temple pattern itself is another in my theme of alcoholic drinks, but in a happy twist of fate, it also manages to blend neatly into my other theme of costumes through the ages… Bubbles from the ginger ale, plus a nod to the curls for which Shirley Temple was known!

This is a toe-up, Fish Lips Kiss Heel (or your own preferred heel), non-alcoholic eyelet and twist mirror sock pattern!
