“Silhouette” is an airy lace shawl that would make a great accessory for spring or summer. The shawl is seamless and knitted top-down from the central neck stitches to the edge. The shawl is shaped as a triangle.

Finished Size:
The sample shawl in the photographs was knitted with 5 repeats of lace pattern and after blocking was 170 cm (66.9inches) for the straight edge on the top of the shawl and 75 cm (29.5 inches) for the height of the shawl at the center. You can easily make it bigger or smaller by adding or taking away pattern repeats.

Gauge:
The gauge is not critical in knitting this shawl. Adjust your needle size to suite your yarn and achieve the size and the look of the shawl of your choice.

Yarn:
Handmaiden Fine Yarn Sea Silk , fingering 4-ply
1 skeins = 437 yards (399.6 m) was used for the sample shawl.
Colorway: Dandelion
The 4-ply yarn can be substituted for a thinner lace weight yarn if desired.

Needles:
US 3 - 3.25 mm 29”(74 cm) and 36” (91 cm) circular needles. Start your shawl on 29” needles and switch to 36” as number of stitches increases.
US 6-4 mm needles for bind off.

Lace instructions are charted only.
