REQUIRED SKILLS
Knitter should be able to knit, purl, work short rows (even if the related technique is explained in the following), and bind off with three needles.

SIZE
small and large.

I love metal-like yarn, its glittering look adds a hint of fashion even to simplest garments.
The mittens are worked on straight needles back and forth, beginning with a provisional cast on. Palm and top of mittens show a two color slip stitch pattern worked flat in a rectangle at the same time with cuff and finger ribbing, formed by rows of alternating color garter st. When the length of the rectangle is equal to hand circumference (slightly stretched) some sts are put on hold and then thumb is shaped through short rows. While palm and cuff are scaled in two different sizes, thumb is equal for both because of the elasticity of garter stitch. Thumb circumference can be easily adapted simply pulling more or less the yarn at beginning of odd rows.
The mitten is then seamed with a three needle bind off.

Yarn Amounts: 1 ball Mondial extrafine; 2 balls Mondial Star.
