PATTERN INFORMATION
Stiorra is worked seamlessly from the top down. First, two shoulder lace bands are worked, then stitches for back and front are picked up along the edges. Back and front are worked separately to the bottom of armholes, where they are joined, and the remaining part of the body is worked in the round with shaping at the sides, and short rows lengthening the back.
Sleeve stitches are picked up from the sides of armholes, and after a small section of short row shaping at the top, they are worked in the round, with the lace pattern from the shoulders continuing in the center of each sleeve.
The neck is finished with horizontal rib, made by alternating rounds of stockinette stitch with rounds of flexible bind-off.
