I love a hat that can be worn many different ways, or “morphed” into many different styles. This one in particular can be worn as a beanie/skullcap, tam, slouch, and even a snood if you have a lot of hair to stretch it out or if you want to continue the pattern to add some length to it. Anyone can “morph” it to fit their style.

As written, the pattern has a slightly slouchy fit and is meant to sit further back on the brow.

Pattern Change: This pattern was originally written with a fingering weight version, but the general consensus was that it wasn’t slouchy enough so I removed it from the pattern, at least until I can get the proportions right.
