Delicate crochet lace is reined in with a deep single crochet through the back loop only ribbed waist for a versatile vest that adds a touch of femininity to anything you wear. This easy crochet vest comes in eight sizes and is a great beginner crochet pattern.

Finished Size: 24½ (26½, 28¾, 30¾, 33, 35, 37¼, 39¼)“ waist circumference; 37½ (40¾, 44, 47¼, 50½, 53½, 56¾, 60)” bust circumference, buttoned, with 2” overlapped buttonband. Vest shown measures 26½“ at waist, modeled with 1½” ease. Note: When choosing size, choose a waist circumference 1-2” smaller than actual body measurements. Bust circumference is meant to have many inches in positive ease.

Yarn: Valley Yarns Valley Superwash (100% extrafine merino; 98 yd 90 m/1¾ oz 50 g): #127 burgundy, 5 (6, 6, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9) balls. Yarn distributed by WEBS.

Hook Size: J/10 (6 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Notions: Yarn needle; three ¾“ buttons.
