Size: 16.5 inches (42 cm) along the center line of the largest point X 85 inches (216 cm) along the top edge. Size will vary due to individual gauge, yarns used, and blocking preferences.


Recommended yarn: One skein of Self-Striping or variegated fingering weight yarn for Color A and One complementary semi-solid/tonal/solid fingering weight for Color B.

Sample Used: 716knit 716sock (80% Merino / 20% Nylon) in the color way “Life Expectancy of a Spinal Tap Drummer” and Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light (100% Superwash Merino Wool) in the color way “StevenBe Blue”


Yardage: Color A: 400 yds/ 365 m; Color B: 400 yds/ 365 m


Needles: One set of 32 inches or greater US size 5/3.75 mm circular needles.


Gauge: 6 sts to the inch in garter stitch on a US size 5/3.75 m needle
