“Wearable – this is always my biggest consideration when I set out on a new design. After swatching with Loft at a looser gauge I knew there was a winner in the making. A comfortable, wearable, oh so squishy winner. This design is truly seamless, apart from one small seam at the back of the neck. The collar is worked concurrently with the body, giving the garment almost no finishing. A slight flare to the body and straight sleeves lend themselves toward making this a ‘live in it’ essential that I hope you’ll love.” – Hannah Fettig

CONSTRUCTION

  • Body is worked in one piece (flat) from hem to underarm. At this point Body is set aside so both Sleeves can be knit.
  • Both Sleeves are worked circularly from cuff to underarm.
  • Upon completion of Body and Sleeves, all three garment pieces are united at the underarm and Raglan Yoke is worked in one piece to neck.
  • The garment’s collar is worked concurrently with Body and Yoke of sweater. Upon completion of Yoke, the Collar is extended along each side for Back Neck.
