Willa Shawlette is a perfect all-year-round, crescent-shaped shawl, knit from the bottom up. It was designed to use every gram of a precious single skein of fingering/sock weight yarn. Willa is a one-skein wonder, has short rows with no wraps, and simple but elegant right-side-only lace. It is the perfect showcase for fabulous, unique yarn. The lace pattern reminds me of fireworks, and fireworks remind me of my sweet mom, Willa, whose birthday is July 3.

Exact gauge is not important. Make sure your knitting is loose enough to block aggressively! You can make a full-size shawlette with one skein of sock yarn!

Note: Lace is charted only.
